Congratulations to the four teams from Carndonagh CS who have made it through to the Grand Final of Junk Kouture. Ms. McDermott and Ms. McGee will accompany these teams to the 3 Arena on Thursday, 2nd May. Seventeen teams from each region have made it through to the final. Congratulations to Damian Duffy, Conor O Neill, Keelan Hegarty and Coran Donaghy who will be representing the school in the finals of the Network for Teaching Enterprise ( NFTE) competition in Dublin on Thursday 9th May. Their enterprise project Game Time is a simple device aimed at reducing Screen time of young children.
Seagate Smart City
Emma McCloskey, Caoimhe Murray, Ciara Harkin and Demi Donaghy from TY, all took part in the ‘Seagate Smart City’ competition in St Mary’s College in Derry on Monday the 8th of April. The girls won the competition with their idea ‘Smood’, which is a student mood detector in the school which aims to combat mental health issues. Well done to the girls with their success!!

Spanish Competition

The Post-Primary Languages Initiative in collaboration with the Consejería de Educación de la Embajada de España en Dublin is delighted to announce its annual competition for 5th year students of Spanish. La Junta de Castilla y León and the Spanish Tourist Office in Dublin are sponsoring the competition.

FanTAXtic

FanTAXtic is a competition specifically for TY students where students work together in teams to research a topical tax issue, and present their findings and opinions in a short video! The 2019 competition has now been launched!!!
